Minghui Report: 2023 Update on the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

This annual report by Minghui.org presents the latest developments in the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime. In 2023, Minghui.org reported the deaths of 209 Falun Gong practitioners, bringing the total number of documented deaths as a result of the persecution to over 5,000. In addition, a total of 1,190 sentencing cases were reported, as well as 6,514 cases of arrests and official harassment of Falun Gong practitioners for their faith.
